REET 2021 Eligibility Details
As hinted by the education minister, there are 31000 teacher’s vacancies to be filled in the coming year. The vacant posts will be assorted category-wise once the details are released by the state government.
For Primary Teacher:
Candidates must have completed Senior Secondary or equivalent with a minimum of 50% marks and passed or pursuing the final year of two-year Diploma in Elementary Education/or appearing in the final year of 4- year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed)/appearing in the final year of 2- year Diploma in Education (Special Education)*
Applicants must have completed graduation and passed or appearing in the final year of two-year Diploma in Elementary Education.
Upper Primary Teacher: Applicants must have done graduation and passed or appearing in the final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education.
Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed).
Graduation with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in 1- year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed), in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure)
Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 4- year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed)/appearing in the final year of 4- year B.A/B.Sc.Ed or B.A.Ed/B.Sc.Ed
Graduation with minimum of 50% marks and passed or appearing in 1-year B.Ed. (Special Education).

REET 2021 Exam Pattern
- There are two papers to clear Paper-I and Paper-II for primary level teachers’ posts and secondary level teaching posts respectively.
- This exam is going to be held in Pen-and-paper mode.
- The duration of this exam is 2.5 Hours (each paper separately).
- This entrance test is bilingual (Hindi and English)
- There is no negative marking in the exam.
- Paper- I Timing: 10 am to 2:30 pm.
- Paper-II, Timing: 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm
