Assam (CEE) is a combined entrance exam which is conducted by the Assam Science And Technology University, Dibrugarh University Assam. It is a state level entrance exam, to get admissions in various members Institutions and colleges for various under Graduate Programmes. There are almost 6 Colleges being members under this Assam University. By clearing this entrance exam, students are eligible for various programmes like- Engineering Degree Courses, BAMS, BHMS Courses and many other courses. The frequency of this entrance is once a year. Every year many students eagerly wait for this exam.

Eligibility Criteria of ASSAM CEE EXAM 2021

Candidates must fulfill all the requirement regarding eligibility , then only candidates may proceed further for entrance ,admission and counseling process

  • NATIONALITY: Candidates must be a Indian and Permanent Residence of Assam State.
  • AGE LIMIT: Candidates minimum age should be 17 yrs and maximum should be 20 yrs as on 1st August, 2021.
  • If candidates have passed out from another state and he/she is a domicile of Uttarakhand, then a domicile certificate will be required during application process.

Educational Qualification

The eligibility criteria for educational qualification are given below according to the courses.

  • Candidates must have passed 12th boards examination from recognized boards like (CBSE/ ICSE, etc)
  • Candidates must have passed 12th with 50 % aggregate in (Physics, Chemistry, Maths)

How To Apply for CEE Exam 2021

  • The Application form will be available on the official website from 1st week of March, 2021. Official website
  • The mode of application filling will be online. So go to the official site , from the link provided above and fill the form.
  • Last date of filling application form will be – Last week of March, 2021.
  • Upload all the necessary documents and passport size photo in the application.
  • For each Programmes and courses, separate application will be required.
  • After Application Process, receipt as well as Admit card will be sent on your registered mail.

After clearance of exams, you will be notified for counselling process in which you have to bring required original documents. Choice of course will be on same day.

ASSAM CEE 2021 Exam Pattern

  • The Assam CEE 2021 Exam will be conducted through offline mode
  • The Assam CEE 2021 Exam question paper contains total 120 questions (All questions will be multiple choice question)
  • Assam CEE 2021 Exam duration will be 180 minutes (3:00 Hours)
  • 4 marks will be provided for every right answer and 1 mark will be deducted for 1 wrong answer.


The level of this entrance exam will be of 11th and 12th. So candidates must prepare according to their respective syllabus.

Assam CEE 2021 Cut off

The Cut off list will be published only after the result. The examination board of Assam (CEE) will decide the CEE cut off list. The Cut off will be totally based on marks secured by the candidates in entrance exam. After the result, the cut off of all the groups and programmes will be published. Also cut off marks of different category (SC/ST, General) will be published after result. After that candidates will be eligible for admission and counselling process.
